Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred
  • Ability to lift objects up to 45 lbs independently and heavier objects with assistance
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely
  • Good communication skills
  • Current driver’s license recommended

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of carpets and furniture
  • Ability to handle and control heavy powered equipment
  • Knowledge of proper uses of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
  • Ability to remove stains from multiple surface types
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Organized and able to multitask

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper care and maintenance of carpets and furniture
  • Handle and control heavy powered cleaning equipment
  • Use a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions properly
  • Remove different kinds of stains from various surfaces
  • Read and understand directions on labels and printed instructions
  • Anticipate needs of guests and clients
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
