Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English communication skills at an 8th grade proficiency level or higher
- Positive attitude and love for interacting with residents
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a housekeeping cart
- Good physical health with required health screening and tuberculosis test
- Criminal background clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth grade level or higher
- Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine care for residents
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
- Good physical health verified by recent health screening
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
Job Duties
- Provide housekeeping services that ensure patient and resident rooms are clean and comfortable
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas such as the lobby and employee break rooms
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment ensuring proper use and storage
- Follow all safety and health guidelines during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance or facility issues to the appropriate personnel
- Engage positively with residents and staff, promoting a warm and welcoming community
- Adhere to the company's policies and procedures regarding cleaning and resident interaction
