- past cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner to protect safety and health of others and comply with departmental policies
- inspect and use judgment in determining which cleaning techniques to follow according to orientation guidelines
- demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions
- disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment
- diligently employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
- keep cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and all equipment is in good working condition
- promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct at all times
- assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
- demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to training commitments
