Job Requirements
- any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
- one year of experience as a lead worker in a related area of assignment or one year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 2 or position equivalent

- experience with buffing and waxing floors
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
Job Duties
- maintains supplies as needed
- cleans and straightens assigned areas
- collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms
- may mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair
- observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
- operates hand tools
- participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
