Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
  • ability to operate cleaning machinery
  • knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work the scheduled hours of Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • physical capability to perform cleaning duties
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • strong organizational skills
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • basic record keeping skills

Job Duties

  • Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishes, buffers
  • complete daily housekeeping task list as assigned by supervisor
  • ensure proper trash and item disposal after each shift
  • keep storage areas clean and organized
  • inform Residential Administrator of needed supplies
  • inform staff of needed facility repairs to be assigned to maintenance
  • work with staff and outside contractors in a respectful and courteous manner
  • maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
  • maintain records in keeping with agency, county, and state guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
