- One year of related experience or equivalent lower level housekeeping experience
- Valid GA driver’s license

Job Duties
- Cleans and straightens assigned areas
- May collect, sort, launder, transport and distribute linens or uniforms
- Cleans assigned areas according to established procedures and safety precautions
- Completes cleaning assignments within established time frames and department standards
- Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
- Thoroughly cleans facilities including visitor centers, group areas, rest rooms, dishes, fireplaces, curtains, porches, decks, and appliances
- Cleans floors and walls attending to corners, edges, and baseboards
- Picks up litter inside and outside of the facility and empties trash receptacles regularly
- Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies
- Restocks soap, paper, and other dispensers
- Mends linens and assists in preventive maintenance and repair
- Observes safety precautions in disposing contaminated waste
- Secures windows and doors before leaving rooms or vacant buildings
- Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
- Conducts final review of assigned area including spot cleaning and organizing furniture
- Creates and maintains a high performance environment with positive leadership and teamwork
