Job Requirements
- One year of experience in related area of assignment
- or one year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 or equivalent position
- compliance with drug screening
- completion of TB evaluation
- willingness to receive annual influenza vaccination with limited exemptions
- ability to work day shift
- willingness to undergo national and state background check as condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in related area of assignment

- ability to operate hand and power cleaning equipment
- knowledge of cleaning practices and safety procedures
- ability to work under general supervision
- good physical condition to perform job duties
- strong attention to detail
- commitment to safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Maintains order, sanitation and cleanliness in assigned facilities
- maintains supplies as needed
- cleans and straightens assigned areas
- collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms
- ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
- maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
- may mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair
- observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
- operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
- participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
- presses and stores all linens
