Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff
Knowledge of infection control techniques
Ability to be patient and polite
Cleared background check as required by state regulations before starting work

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, and bathrooms
Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them securely
Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts
Perform other assigned tasks
Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with company policies, standards, and applicable laws
Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff
