Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a similar position is preferred but not required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
- Good physical stamina and mobility
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Cleaning resident rooms and common areas including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Maintaining the housekeeping cart by keeping it clean, stocked and labeled
- Assisting with related duties such as laundry or spill cleanup
- Ensuring compliance with cleaning standards and safety regulations
- Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Participating in bonus programs such as employee referrals and employee of the month/year
- Supporting the overall cleanliness and comfort of the community environment
