Job Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school
- No previous cleaning experience required
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to walk and stand throughout the entire shift
- Ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend as part of daily work activities
- Ability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently throughout the workday
Job Qualifications
- Completion of two years of high school or equivalent
- Positive attitude with willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service skills with dedication to excellent guest experiences
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
- Physical ability to perform required cleaning duties
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of hotel cleaning services to maintain guest rooms according to established standards
- Visually inspect rooms to identify maintenance needs
- Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
- Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment for team members and guests
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with a courteous attitude
- Help with laundry and cleaning of public spaces as needed
- Ensure rooms are cleaned to a higher standard than competitors
