Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from Louisiana Racing Commission
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to read, analyze and interpret documentation
- ability to communicate effectively
- minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- willingness to work in a casino and office environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights and noise
- ability to perform physical activities including walking, bending, stooping, climbing
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cleaning or custodial work
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation
- ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff
- ability to write and present information to management
- ability to perform mathematical computations
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables
Job Duties
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and mops all floors
- cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, counter surfaces
- vacuums rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
- dusts furniture and cleans assigned equipment and polishes metalwork
- washes walls, ceiling and woodwork
- washes windows, door panels and sills
- cleans assigned hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other assigned work areas
- cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
- empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays and transports trash and waste to disposal area
- replenishes bathroom supplies on a regular basis when open to the public
- handles all cleaning substances according to proper handling procedures
- notifies maintenance of replacement light bulbs needed and location
- performs all other duties as assigned
