Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior housekeeping experience required
- basic verbal and written communication skills
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
- physical capability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for cleaning tasks
- maintain neat and clean personal appearance
- availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

- basic communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to stand and mobilize for up to 8 hours

Job Duties
- Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- maintain cleanliness of hallways and common areas
- perform duties such as cleaning spills and fulfilling special guest requests
- assist other housekeeping staff in organizing work and public areas
- participate in carpet care program by spotting carpet during cleaning
- report maintenance issues to supervisor
- stock and maintain housekeeping carts and linen storage rooms
- complete room assignment sheets accurately
- respond promptly to guest complaints and requests
- follow procedures for guest room entry while ensuring privacy and security
- greet guests with friendly assistance
- adhere to safety and security policies including key handling
- be knowledgeable of emergency and bloodborne pathogen procedures
- communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments
