Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds
- Must be able to move quickly around the facility and assist residents or staff during emergencies
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts and adjust work hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must demonstrate compassion and caring toward seniors
- Must demonstrate exemplary work ethics
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to interact politely and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and executive director
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean resident apartments once a week as scheduled
- Clean community common areas routinely or as needed
- Vacuum, dust, and remove resident trash according to cleaning standards
- Engage residents with friendly conversation and compassionate interaction
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols during cleaning
- Assist staff or residents during emergencies as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director
