Job Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience is highly preferred
- Valid Florida Driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to 45 pounds
- Good physical and mental health
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to move continuously during work hours
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
- Prior hard surface floor care experience is a plus but not required
- Valid Florida Driver's license
Job Duties
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums
- Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings
- Clean up human waste and other body fluids as required
- Dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials responsibly
- Follow job assignments and comply with regulations such as OSHA and EPA
- Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc.
- Empty trash containers daily
- Wet mop floors in all rooms, bathrooms, and corridors
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, and showers
- Clean all air vents
- Report needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- Wash windows as scheduled
- Check entire area periodically for spills and water
- Follow instructions on the use of germicidal solutions to clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
