Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping preferred
- ability to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand, walk and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
- attention to detail
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- willingness to comply with safety and hygiene standards
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- ability to provide high-quality customer service
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service by attentively addressing customer needs
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism
- performs other related duties as assigned
