Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of housekeeping operations experience
  • Experience working in a residential or communal setting preferred
  • Completion of background checks including FBI, State Police, and Child Abuse Clearances
  • Successful completion of required advocate training
  • Valid driver’s license if position requires operating a vehicle
  • Current vehicle registration if position requires operating a vehicle
  • Acceptable driving record if position requires operating a vehicle
  • PA minimum liability insurance coverage if position requires operating a vehicle
  • Ability to perform essential housekeeping duties
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to agency values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of housekeeping operations experience
  • Experience working in a residential or communal setting preferred
  • Ability to maintain respectful relationships and interactions
  • Strong autonomy and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain housekeeping operations in accordance with agency standards
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, damage, and prevent accidents
  • Conduct daily inspections of residential communal living spaces to ensure safety and sanitary conditions
  • Ensure compliance with infection control techniques including use of personal protective equipment
  • Clean all rooms as residents exit and prepare rooms for incoming residents
  • Ensure all general housekeeping tasks meet quality standards
  • Communicate housekeeping needs including supply needs with the Director of Facilities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by department head
