Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Capability for prolonged standing or walking
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch
- Manual dexterity with hands
- Visual acuity for cleaning tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- Customer oriented with ability to work well in a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Basic knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity
Job Duties
- Perform a wide range of housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition
- Work cooperatively with other staff members to achieve cleanliness goals
- Clean, dust, polish, and organize different hospital zones
- Adhere to established procedures and safety protocols
- Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Report any maintenance or safety hazards discovered during cleaning
- Follow infection control policies related to housekeeping
