Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Prior experience in cleaning roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Competency in using computers, tablets, or similar technology
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to work long hours when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Prior experience in a cleaning position
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to use technology such as computers, tablets, and iPads
  • Organizational skills
  • Proven experience working quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to take initiative and handle assignments with limited supervision
  • A sense of ownership in all tasks performed

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize assigned hotel rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning windows, mirrors, bathrooms, vents, lobby areas, walls, carpets, and common areas within shift time requirements
  • Replenish amenities within guest rooms, including toiletries and minibar
  • Report any technology, maintenance, or room ware issues to Housekeeping Manager
  • Interact with all hotel guests in a professional manner and assist as needed sharing hotel knowledge
  • Assist guests with any special requests, including amenities or room ware needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping office and storage areas ensuring carts are cleaned and restocked daily
  • Perform turndown service as requested by guests
  • Report any suspicious activity, unusual items, or irregular behavior
  • Review daily board and refresh stay over rooms
  • Other necessary duties as reasonably assigned
