Job Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in the housekeeping field
- 40 hours per week work schedule with weekends as needed
- Knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, push or pull, reach above shoulders, climb ladders, lift/carry cleaning supplies
- Ability to lift/carry 1-20 lbs
- Vision must be clear to read cautionary labels and written instructions
- Hearing and speaking must be clear for communication with supervisors
- Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, paint fumes, solvents, adhesives
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience in the housekeeping field
- Skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals
- Excellent listening and communicative skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and communicate verbally
- Physical ability to perform duties including bending, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds
- Clear vision and hearing to perform job tasks safely
Job Duties
- Cleans the office, clubroom, restrooms, laundry facilities, and other common areas on a daily basis
- Cleans and maintains models daily and reports any problems to the Maintenance Director
- Cleans all vacant apartments as directed by the Community Director, Assistant Community Director, and Maintenance Director
- Trash out units, remove all perishable items within 24 hours of move out
- Keeps all vacancies fresh and odorless
- Informs Community Director, Assistant Community Director, or Maintenance Director of supply needs
- Understands and practices safety procedures relating to job task, hazardous chemicals, and other work-related dangers
- Completes appropriate Grace Hill Training
- Performs any additional duties deemed necessary by the Maintenance Director
