Job Requirements
- Completion of 2 years of high school education
- no prior cleaning experience necessary
- ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift
- capability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work activities
- ability to lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during shift
- willingness to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with all hotel departments
- report to Executive Housekeeper or Assistant General Manager
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- no previous cleaning experience required
- ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions
- strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
- positive and proactive attitude
- excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members
- ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests
- perform various hotel cleaning services to maintain rooms according to set standards
- inspect rooms visually to identify maintenance needs
- assist guests with linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
- provide friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude
- help maintain a positive work atmosphere for all team members and guests
