Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision

- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Basic computer knowledge to use company software
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, families, co-workers and leadership
- Developed organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrate good judgement
- Team oriented self-starter with demonstrated ability to accept direction and work well with supervisor

Job Duties
- Clean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule
- Clean carpets, furniture and draperies with vacuum cleaner or shampooer
- Sweep, scrub and mop hard floors using broom, mop or power scrubber
- Scrub and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets and bathing rooms
- Dust and polish furniture and metalwork
- Wash windows, sills and doors
- Clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directed
- Perform deep cleaning according to schedule including moving and straightening furniture
- Maintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms to prepare for resident occupancy
- Empty wastebaskets and properly dispose of trash
- Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry as directed
- Ensure equipment is stored properly
- Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
