Job Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in the housekeeping field
- able to work 40 hours per week including weekends as circumstances warrant
- knowledgeable and skilled in safe use of cleaning chemicals and tools
- physically capable of bending, climbing stairs and ladders, pushing or pulling, reaching above shoulders, lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs
- vision and hearing must be clear
- able to communicate clearly with supervisors
- occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, paint fumes, solvents, adhesives
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience in the housekeeping field
- skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools
- excellent listening and communicative skills
- able to follow written instructions and safety procedures
- physically able to perform job tasks including bending, climbing, lifting up to 20 lbs, and standing for long periods
- clear vision and hearing to read labels and communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Cleans the office, clubroom, restrooms, laundry facilities, and other common areas on a daily basis
- cleans and maintains models daily and reports any problems to the Maintenance Director
- cleans all vacant apartments as directed by the Community Director, Assistant Community Director, and Maintenance Director
- trashes out units and removes all perishable items within 24 hours of move out
- keeps all vacancies fresh and odorless
- informs Community Director, Assistant Community Director, or Maintenance Director of supply needs
- understands and practices safety procedures relating to job task, hazardous chemicals, and other work-related dangers
