Job Requirements
- housekeeping experience in health care or commercial setting preferred
- current and valid 2 step tb clearance and health review can be done in-house
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or commercial settings preferred
- knowledge of infection control practices
- ability to follow instructions and maintain cleaning schedules
- good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks
- strong attention to detail and reliability
- effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- ensure a clean orderly and safe place for guests and residents to live and staff to work throughout the facility
- follow infection control standards when collecting dirty linen and handling resident laundry
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all assigned areas
- properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials
- report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
- collaborate with team members to meet cleanliness and hygiene goals
- support a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff
