Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Must be able to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic computer literacy

- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
- Strong organization and time management skills

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, clean and check heat system filters, change beds and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets in resident apartments
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities provided
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from the cart
- Courteously and clearly review the menu, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to the kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals, reset for the next meal and follow proper sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning the coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
