Job Requirements
- Must pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Frequent walking
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally pushing or pulling over 50 pounds
- Ability to follow a work schedule and adapt to changes
- Must perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Good physical stamina and mobility
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Professional and respectful demeanor with residents and staff
Job Duties
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet extractors
- Clean areas that may be be damp, dusty, dirty, or wet
- Clean through dusting, washing, scrubbing, wiping, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and vacuuming
- Dispose of trash as required
- Handle cleaning products according to label and instructions
- Report unusual findings or safety concerns to Housekeeping Manager
- Maintain equipment and housekeeping cart
- Follow safety precautions in all housekeeping services
