- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial or maintenance preferred

- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial or maintenance preferred
Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, resident rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- Follow user directions for all compounds and chemicals, including use of proper proportions
- Label all compounds and chemicals properly and store them in locked storage areas
- Empty trash containers, replace liners as appropriate and dispose of trash in proper receptacles
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Maintain clean storage area and store cleaning supplies in the directed manner
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts and maintain fire aisles when using cleaning cart
- Replenish supplies, linens, and bathroom items
- Report any repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate
- Observe for resident safety when in resident care areas
- Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards
