- high school diploma or GED preferred
- prior professional housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to learn new skills and acquire job knowledge through on-the-job training and instruction
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Job Duties
- clean resident units, bathing areas, lounges, offices, hallways, dining area, common areas, public bathrooms, and other rooms as assigned
- mop floors, vacuum, spot clean carpeted areas, and empty trash
- dust and/or wash furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- wash windows and sills and other annual cleaning functions as required
- clean public telephone and drinking fountains
- clean and sanitize lavatories and toilet bowls inside and out
- perform written cleaning procedures and follow written cleaning schedules for common areas, resident units, and health center rooms
- keep all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly
- transport and stock linens and other equipment
- follow all written infection control procedures established by the community
