Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferably in hospitality settings
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts including weekends and holidays
Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable
Familiarity with janitorial or custodial tasks including floor care surface sanitation and waste disposal
Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums buffers and steam cleaners is a plus
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to cleanliness and guest service enhances your effectiveness in this role
Previous management experience in housekeeping can be advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all duties are completed efficiently

Job Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies hallways restrooms and recreational spaces by sweeping mopping and disinfecting surfaces regularly
Care for flooring through proper sweeping polishing and deep cleaning techniques suited to various floor types
Restock supplies like toiletries linens towels and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe environment
Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks efficiently and address special requests or urgent cleaning needs promptly
Conduct routine inspections to uphold cleanliness standards and report maintenance issues or damages immediately
