Job Requirements
- minimum one year of experience in hospitality environment preferred
- effective English communication skills including reading and writing
- ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and tolerate exposure to fumes dust and pet dander
- physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing walking reaching sitting stooping kneeling crouching and crawling
- ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- one year of work experience in a hospitality environment such as hotel country club or resort preferred
- ability to read write and communicate effectively in English with residents families guests and associates
- knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and exposure to chemical fumes dust and pet dander
- physical ability to stand walk reach sit stoop kneel crouch and crawl
- ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize residences and contents including vacuuming dusting cleaning kitchen and bath fixtures turning mattresses moving light furniture emptying trash receptacles
- perform other cleaning duties for resident apartments offices bathrooms and common areas
- assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences
- wash dry fold and store linens and laundry for community and residents
- coordinate delivery and return of resident laundry
- keep housekeeping carts clean and organized
- keep carts stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers
- perform all other duties as assigned
