Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in hospitality or related customer service field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must handle stressful and high-pressure situations well
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out as scheduled
  • Must clock in/out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice for call-outs as directed by supervisor
  • Capable of performing physical job demands including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures

  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to serve and provide excellent guest service
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to provide a personalized experience
  • Work collectively to ensure great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support events and groups held in the hotel
  • Manage phone etiquette by answering calls with approved friendly greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized throughout the hotel
  • Pitch in with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with hospitality while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Maintain a clean and approved uniform with proper grooming and a friendly demeanor
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to assist beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate effectively to foster a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and attending morning meetings
  • Clean and restock assigned guest rooms thoroughly per shift
  • Assist with additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep cleaning activities as assigned
  • Adhere to scheduled clock-in/out times and break periods
  • Provide proper notice for call-outs as required by supervision
