Job Requirements
- One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a similar environment
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassion for elderly individuals
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive manner
- Follow established cleaning procedures and supervisor instructions
- Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Perform duties with residents and team members courteously and professionally
- Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction
- Assist with routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and waste disposal
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
