- previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial or maintenance preferred

Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, resident rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- follow user directions for all compounds and chemicals, including use of proper proportions
- label all compounds and chemicals properly and store them in locked storage areas
- empty trash containers, replace liners as appropriate, and dispose of trash in proper receptacles
- clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
- dust and polish furniture and equipment
- maintain clean storage area and store cleaning supplies in the directed manner
- carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts and maintain fire aisles when using cleaning cart
- replenish supplies, linens, and bathroom items
- report any repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate
- observe for resident safety when in resident care areas
- comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards
