Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to work Monday through Friday evening shifts from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
- ability to provide attentive customer service
- basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
- ability to handle physical cleaning tasks
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- provides quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers and associates
- performs other duties as assigned
