Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in hospitality housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies safely
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights
- Must adhere to sanitation and safety protocols
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work varied shifts and hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing and deep cleaning methods
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency in cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and supplies
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure swift resolution
- Maintain a detailed record of cleaning activities and room status updates for efficient operations
