Job Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience in commercial, residential or hotel environments preferred
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to tolerate prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping and stair climbing
  • ability to handle exposure to cleaning solutions
  • ability to lift push or pull up to 25 lbs
  • ability to visually inspect units and public areas for cleanliness adherence

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols
  • ability to interact professionally with residents and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Clean and service rooms/units according to hotel standards
  • make beds and change linens
  • replace towels
  • dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces
  • replenish amenities such as soap, shampoo, and water
  • ensure restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked
  • clean and maintain public spaces, community rooms, and amenities
  • check and report maintenance issues
  • follow procedures for handling lost and found items
  • respect resident privacy and location protocols
  • restock housekeeping storage areas
  • maintain cleanliness and safety protocols
  • adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • provide courteous and professional service to residents and co-workers
  • use personal protective equipment as outlined in Safety Data Sheets
  • comply with property security and fire regulations
  • assist other employees and complete additional duties as assigned
