Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
- physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- capability to interact professionally with residents and staff
- flexibility to work varying shifts if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
- good communication skills
- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- empty and sanitize ash trays daily according to safety guidelines
- clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units daily as instructed
- clean, wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures ensuring water marks are removed
- clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting
