Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy
- Must comply with all Hyatt Vacation Club policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Commitment to guest service excellence
Job Duties
- Clean the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
- Complete assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift
- Replace all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
- Report room status to the main linen room, housekeeping manager/supervisor, or front desk
- Fill the housekeeping cart/caddy with all necessary supplies/chemicals, transport the cart to the rooms, and return it to the designated area at the end of the shift
- Follow all company policies and procedures and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contribute to team goals
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures
