Job Requirements
- no previous experience required
- availability to work full time or part time with flexible hours
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical housekeeping tasks
- ability to communicate effectively
- willingness to adhere to company policies and maintain a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment helpful but not required
- ability to follow instructions
Job Duties
- provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers and fellow associates
- performs other duties as assigned
