Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic computer literacy

- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments
- Vacuum, dust, and clean main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators and check heat system filters
- Change beds and linens and ensure adequate linen supplies in each apartment
- Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed with special attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from the cart
- Courteously review the menu, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items
- Deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures
- Vacuum carpets in dining areas
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
