Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles
  • knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred
  • IHG brand hotels or hospitality experience is a plus
  • knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices
  • strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally
  • ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties

Job Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness
  • conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed
  • maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management
  • ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition
  • collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
  • follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety regulations
  • provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries
