Job Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
  • Friendly, respectful and empathetic towards residents and staff
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Must pass a background check

Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident apartments, common areas, and facility spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from resident apartments and common areas daily
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies
  • Follow proper cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to minimize the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
  • Occasionally perform laundry duties
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents by respecting their privacy and accommodating their preferences
  • Work closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to address facility needs and report any concerns, such as maintenance issues or safety hazards
