Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- availability to work full-time or part-time shifts as needed
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- reliable transportation to Greensboro, NC work location
- willingness to relocate to Greensboro, NC before starting work
Job Qualifications
- strong cleaning skills with experience in hospitality or hotel environments preferred
- knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices
- familiarity with housekeeping management principles is a plus
- proficient in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff
Job Duties
- perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as needed
- dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance
- vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate methods for different surfaces
- report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- assist with laundry services as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and folded properly
- follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to promote health and safety standards
- maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management
