Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting bending standing and walking for extended periods
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- reliable and punctual
- strong organizational skills
- basic computer literacy

Job Duties
- provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming dusting cleaning entryways common areas dining rooms hallways patios and apartments
- clean and defrost refrigerators as needed check heat system filters change bed linens ensure adequate linen supplies turn mattresses with assistance empty waste baskets
- provide deep cleaning of apartments paying special attention to entry area carpets plants pictures railings windows and light fixtures
- launder all linens by washing and drying in laundry facilities provided
- follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- greet residents and guests at each table with a smile serve beverages cereals soups salads from the cart
- courteously review menu take resident orders serve meals and desserts
- return cart to kitchen assist with storage deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- bus and clear dishes from tables after meals reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures vacuum carpets
- complete side work including filling sugar holders replenishing creamers cleaning coffeemaker
- perform other duties as needed or assigned
