Job Requirements
- housekeeping experience required
- knowledge of basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
- acute healthcare work experience
- ability to use heavy equipment such as buffer extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums

- housekeeping experience in healthcare settings
- knowledge of cleaning and disinfection protocols
- ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment
- understanding of proper handling and disposal of infectious and biohazardous waste
- strong attention to detail and safety practices
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas
- follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures
- collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste and linens
- stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and common areas
- respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff
- operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment
