Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders simultaneously
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check and clean heat system filters, change linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies in apartments
- Provide deep cleaning focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying using provided facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Take meal orders, serve meals and desserts, and assist with storage of perishables
- Clear and reset tables following food service guidelines, including sanitizing and vacuuming
- Complete side work such as refilling sugar holders and cleaning the coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as assigned
