Job Requirements
- must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including standing bending and lifting
- must be punctual and reliable
- availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- previous housekeeping experience would be advantageous
- excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently as well as in a team
Job Duties
- cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure ensuring that all surfaces are properly sanitized and disinfected
- making beds with fresh linens and pillows
- replacing dirty linens and towels with clean ones
- restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries and drinking glasses
- removing garbage recycling and room service trays from guest rooms and hallways
- picking up and returning laundry items to the laundry room
- organizing and stocking housekeeping carts with all necessary cleaning supplies
- notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances old light bulbs or any damage to the room
- upholding the hotel's confidentiality and security standards by not disclosing any guest information
- dusting and polishing various surfaces and furniture in guest rooms and public areas
- vacuuming sweeping and mopping floors in guest rooms and public areas
- emptying trash bins and replacing trash liners as needed
