Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and department requests
  • fill and transport housekeeping carts to assigned areas
  • enter guest rooms following proper access procedures
  • replace guest amenities and supplies
  • change linens and terry with clean items
  • make beds and fold terry
  • clean bathrooms thoroughly
  • remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
  • check all appliances for presence and functionality
  • straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties including guest rooms and hallways
  • follow all company safety and security policies and report issues
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guest service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • support team to reach common goals
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance and more with assistance
  • push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
  • perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
