Job Requirements

High school diploma
One year of housekeeping experience
Valid state-issued driver’s license preferred
Ability to walk, twist, bend, push, and kneel for most of the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, chemicals, and equipment
Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
Respirator fit testing may be required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma
One year of housekeeping experience
Knowledge of various cleaning methods, materials, chemicals, and equipment
Knowledge of floor and carpet care including refinishing, scrubbing, hi-speed burnishing, polishing, shampooing, and extraction
Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment such as BobCat, Forklift, Snow Blowers, and Plows
Ability to drive university vehicles

Job Duties

Clean restrooms by disinfecting basins, urinals, and toilet bowls and sweeping and mopping floors
Replenish dispensers and report damages to supervisors
Remove trash and recycle as required
Perform vacuuming, mopping, waxing, buffing, and dusting of offices, corridors, and staircases
Remove snow using shovels and power equipment
Set up tables and chairs for events and functions
Move furniture as needed
Operate motor vehicles to transport garbage
Perform other related duties as assigned
