Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in all required training and compliance activities
- Ability to pass a drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- Compliance with vaccination requirements if mandated
- Ability to maintain equipment and supplies properly

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Perform scheduled cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and polishing various surfaces
- Knock on residents' and public restroom doors before entering to respect privacy
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Transport clean and soiled linens to appropriate storage and collection areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a clean and sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry following approved procedures
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- Ensure safety protocols for chemicals, hazards, and infection control are followed at all times
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
