Job Duties

  • Clean assigned resident homes and common community areas including disinfecting washrooms, cleaning floors, and dusting
  • Deliver appropriate care of residents' belongings for cleaning, organizing, and storing
  • Execute timely cleaning duties following resident transfer, move-out, or discharge to prepare rooms efficiently
  • Maintain an organized and stocked work cart, ensuring chemicals are properly labeled and stored, and lock the cart when unattended
  • Follow cleaning practices for isolation rooms using infection control and isolation guidelines as per department procedures
  • Initiate requests for supplies and equipment needs to supervisor
  • Confirm chemicals are labeled and stored correctly
